Apple Delay International Release of iPad

In a release today, Apply have announced that the release of the iPad outside the USA is going to be delayed. Instead of release by the end of April as had originally been stated, the company will now start taking “Pre-Orders” on 10 May for shipment at the end of May. The Apple release said “We know that many international customers waiting to buy an iPad will be disappointed by this news, but we hope they will be pleased to learn the reason—the iPad is a runaway success in the US thus far.” Such action will only increase the hype and most likely sales of the new device.
